Now, on to this table. I left the table bare to show the beautiful, rich wood. I love the grain in the table. I used black placemats. The stemware is amber water glasses and black wine glasses. We were actually looking for old iron garden furniture to repurpose, but Luis saw this Ethan Allen headboard and knew it would be perfect for Cristian's room. It was only $8!! We could not pass it up!! ~~~The (ahem) FUN has begun!!!~~~~

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">OK, so yesterday when I got home, the house looked like a tornado went through here! Joe had bought new furniture for his office and was removing EVERYTHING from the office in order to paint. Soooo, we have file cabinets, book cases,printer,  and miscellaneous STUFF all over the place. The new furniture, that has to be put together is in boxes in the living room.I YI YI!!!!:):) But, I am THRILLED that we are FINALLY doing the office. It has needed this redo for YEARS and I mean years! So, here is what it looks like right now and I will try to keep you posted. Joe is going to start painting the ceiling now. Thanks for stopping by. Ralph Lauren-inspired Spode Woodland

Hello everyone! I'm very excited to have a tablescape this week as I'm in the middle of planning and executing my parents' 50th Anniversary reception this weekend!! But, I had to get all the silver out anyway, so I wanted to share this table with you. I headed to the fabric shop armed with a dinner plate for inspiration. I decided to go with this beautiful floral pattern and a coordinating plaid. I have become really fond of double runners because of the added texture, so I layered the floral over the plaid. For a little added interest, I added a pleated natural ruffle and a strip of the plaid.
