English Cottage Attitude...

Then it dawned on me to make a tiered ruffle curtain and use a mix of fabrics. I am LOVING this! Too cute, and I can always put the doors back on. You can see the burned up microwave is gone. We exchanged it for a $39 hood, then extended it with wood trim because it was too high. I also painted the rest of the backsplash then glazed over top of that with mocha glaze. They were the same size so they fit perfectly. I used mostly things I already had, or were really inexpensive.  I would still love to paint the bottom cabinets black, but it will have to be later. I apologize for being MIA but as I told you in an earlier post, our daughter, SIL, and their 2 dogs moved in with us this weekend. They will be here while their BEAUTIFUL, new house is being built!!!!!! I am SO over the moon happy for them! So, I took some pics, mainly so they would have a record of their first move together, and I thought I would share them with you. On Fri. they both took a half day off so I went over to help pack up the last few things.
