See the light blue/grey color?? You will be seeing that in several different places as spring approaches. I have antique tongue and groove bead board wainscoting in that color just waiting to be put up. This print is an English cottage by R. There are so many more things in the old house I want to use when we get time. I'm about to put some tongue and groove wainscoting in one of the bathrooms, and waiting for Luis to trim out the mirror with some chestnut trim. I'm really hoping to change out the white baseboards for the 8 inch chestnut baseboards, but only if I can talk Luis into it! There is a lot more work using old wood because it is usually not straight and fitting together odd pieces is a bit like a huge puzzle. It is always worth it in the end though.<br /><br />And did I mention that this was all free????!?!? English Cottage Attitude...

Then it dawned on me to make a tiered ruffle curtain and use a mix of fabrics. I am LOVING this! Too cute, and I can always put the doors back on. You can see the burned up microwave is gone. We exchanged it for a $39 hood, then extended it with wood trim because it was too high. We cherish the time we spend together and make that a priority. Our house is very small, but I really try to make the most of it in creative ways. We are so thankful for what we have, and we make every effort to share with others as opportunities arise. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">A cause near and dear to our hearts is the plight of homeless veterans. We regularly volunteer at a local shelter dedicated to their needs, and we are the ones being blessed by them. A wonderful thing to do during this season is to give a gift in honor of someone to a charity that will help someone in need. Also, please take the time to volunteer at a shelter, or simply take food or necessities to someone. There are so many opportunities to give, just take one.
