Late August around the Yard

I thought I should share some pictures I took about 2 weerks ago before I share the Fall decorations outside (and in). We had beautiful, mild temps for most of the month of August and the flowers all did beautifully! Here are a few shots.These first 2 are of one of the water lilies in the pond. Wea re SO thrilled to have them, at the old house they never bloomed due to not enough sun!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9DsmyopkWE4SCzyb7GcaM_BLq_C8_GBPriZH730abkV_ln-zDj2XmT0vMpauJrJtxXCr3eXrC_aOK9ncH34Zg62lMlM7AHfhVzK7auYBA7ihyphenhyphenQ1J34grMswK-8ikVTr_Eb02yRVYF1SQ/s1600/IMG_1310.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh9DsmyopkWE4SCzyb7GcaM_BLq_C8_GBPriZH730abkV_ln-zDj2XmT0vMpauJrJtxXCr3eXrC_aOK9ncH34Zg62lMlM7AHfhVzK7auYBA7ihyphenhyphenQ1J34grMswK-8ikVTr_Eb02yRVYF1SQ/s1600/IMG_1310.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOLus3OAQEPZz_OBttQgiWG_qfe547Gp4Q_46Jzl9SG7GMLKwhRbfnXIOjUU4xNyhyqllWvUUrmLFcmc1tMX6Sd8KeuD_p_uKrzp8ueYzJYeA5-t7-nJuNX5dldNY2RIqSu8-Z00Pmtmc/s1600/IMG_1311.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOLus3OAQEPZz_OBttQgiWG_qfe547Gp4Q_46Jzl9SG7GMLKwhRbfnXIOjUU4xNyhyqllWvUUrmLFcmc1tMX6Sd8KeuD_p_uKrzp8ueYzJYeA5-t7-nJuNX5dldNY2RIqSu8-Z00Pmtmc/s1600/IMG_1311.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> This is a pink one<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUC_I1vzVpjmhfJDF8GdTeWt6aOEi_8kiWu7BRMVulTPA8k8xiRgna6XJ-goGs8EVw67yPz209lU2u-gC6cD92w8u6ezbfQUIMti40UrzluvVqKD5RYoFshfYfB4Qjg-A9RyUAwFqpcEY/s1600/IMG_1312.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUC_I1vzVpjmhfJDF8GdTeWt6aOEi_8kiWu7BRMVulTPA8k8xiRgna6XJ-goGs8EVw67yPz209lU2u-gC6cD92w8u6ezbfQUIMti40UrzluvVqKD5RYoFshfYfB4Qjg-A9RyUAwFqpcEY/s1600/IMG_1312.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> SO many laly pads.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVMbJK9SU20t8CpWnP_YaLdPuMgpAyQzf3dU5oGOoPdtiFGdvpGINQyAX1o5ZoXA0U2xOPbEyxRw0SshEmeFXuCa3XZIYurd-Qh0DYxwBxlgcSYiCwddi-rQKjR9q9tkzyx0yXoQ3kLkQ/s1600/IMG_1313.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVMbJK9SU20t8CpWnP_YaLdPuMgpAyQzf3dU5oGOoPdtiFGdvpGINQyAX1o5ZoXA0U2xOPbEyxRw0SshEmeFXuCa3XZIYurd-Qh0DYxwBxlgcSYiCwddi-rQKjR9q9tkzyx0yXoQ3kLkQ/s1600/IMG_1313.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> The marigolds all around the pnd have done very well, wait til you see how big they are now! ~~~A HINT That Spring is Coming!!!~~~

This morning I went outside, it looked so beautiful. I grabbed my camera when I saw the pond. There is just a TINY bit of snow still on it and the water is running, so I know Spring is coming! We have had wonderful, warmer temps the past few days so I have been enjoying every minute. Spring cleaning is even starting here!!! Just thought I would share a few shots out back. Do you remember when the Asian guy was up to his waist in snow? <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaOnFxREVnxGCsNYvywt6sEw4X1_DX2419xN1b2TddADjCrP5expRrH4kBfHmvRQqx2eBLiBlYv6wOsurPukPQjB24z2fDRRkaEE9mRrpvdGVE2dyV6V_erM6pGDAJotuacAgfC2ddAZ8/s1600/IMG_0143.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaOnFxREVnxGCsNYvywt6sEw4X1_DX2419xN1b2TddADjCrP5expRrH4kBfHmvRQqx2eBLiBlYv6wOsurPukPQjB24z2fDRRkaEE9mRrpvdGVE2dyV6V_erM6pGDAJotuacAgfC2ddAZ8/s1600/IMG_0143.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> Can't wait to be able to stock the pond with fish and plants!!!<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjfr7IRFueBbZ2mWHI1nGPm75r5ZvmM2fNPhIM6kfcqTkBVJAeZbTLLr27T34xlq4jxm0OQP_GerWQFzxGe3W8wMoRFbDCpJd5suILd3RCQASXU2sbongAmZCTCq8JuAndsIEZIm2cPto/s1600/IMG_0145.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjfr7IRFueBbZ2mWHI1nGPm75r5ZvmM2fNPhIM6kfcqTkBVJAeZbTLLr27T34xlq4jxm0OQP_GerWQFzxGe3W8wMoRFbDCpJd5suILd3RCQASXU2sbongAmZCTCq8JuAndsIEZIm2cPto/s1600/IMG_0145.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> The snow IS melting some.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7wEW3Q3RIye8VR2jDWZHHx2QWbf8DPifp7C6HJAZMw6jwk9ywePzHvQ1-pX3XmwM9q0WiIV5bYRdBWbdCvuxBYBKJTwnT7Xgw3ES07zkRjPd0GPUOsU3fdAYh_NrsUic3rTXFz1l0AkI/s1600/IMG_0147.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7wEW3Q3RIye8VR2jDWZHHx2QWbf8DPifp7C6HJAZMw6jwk9ywePzHvQ1-pX3XmwM9q0WiIV5bYRdBWbdCvuxBYBKJTwnT7Xgw3ES07zkRjPd0GPUOsU3fdAYh_NrsUic3rTXFz1l0AkI/s1600/IMG_0147.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJJleUfyubR8JdlEK6ef9vmGB9T9JfwkoNCdFOMAiyrOOgeUGVS5OBxvS_vECcazirfByVyPnjsMzaKAXPmnnvNLIcC5QZfjCjWTTVye7Xs7G4PRQiRZAIwrPQy2zLXTQbh9Rtwk5F1Cs/s1600/IMG_0148.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiJJleUfyubR8JdlEK6ef9vmGB9T9JfwkoNCdFOMAiyrOOgeUGVS5OBxvS_vECcazirfByVyPnjsMzaKAXPmnnvNLIcC5QZfjCjWTTVye7Xs7G4PRQiRZAIwrPQy2zLXTQbh9Rtwk5F1Cs/s1600/IMG_0148.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> But there are still BIG piles left. ~~~The BIG Reveal, Deck, Patio and Pond!!!~~~

Good Friday morning!!!!! At long last I am able to reveal our new deck, patio and pond!! It has taken forever to get this done, but it IS done and we love it all. It is a wonderful spot to sit and relax but also a great entertaining space!!!! That was our goal. I didn't really care if we did a pond but Joe REALLY wanted it so we got it and I love it too!!! So, without further ado, I will show you around. Come on out!!!! We go out the door in the morning room to the deck.....<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsABzY7E-XISHBflg2MS4gUmlW_y6d3hmmEmJw-jwa0cW3YzeSdqmafE_JJJvVdUArwL27sxkfeSgFXXKVtegxQhyFd0reJdrDQvibQvl4YF4fLLSpt-E8QCp4mOzfn5yvJ8UyRPljvrU/s1600/IMG_0257.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgsABzY7E-XISHBflg2MS4gUmlW_y6d3hmmEmJw-jwa0cW3YzeSdqmafE_JJJvVdUArwL27sxkfeSgFXXKVtegxQhyFd0reJdrDQvibQvl4YF4fLLSpt-E8QCp4mOzfn5yvJ8UyRPljvrU/s640/IMG_0257.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>We went with Trex because we do NOT want to have to maintain a deck at our advanced age:):) The deck was not allowed to be any bigger so it is just big enough for the grill (which stays on the other side, to the right of the door as you come out) and a small table and chairs.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi-1masCGZhkgmWC2ZrZpXyT-h-kFVUJ32Cjpjilfwmcmkqslff9NG-TiLQTT2pc_SUe8YnPW9XUve2fiRFMIz6JWqSXWrkyQRYT5CsbMOnqK2DSeqygKKSZRTgyHuJGKFkkD7llUL9OY/s1600/IMG_0258.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgi-1masCGZhkgmWC2ZrZpXyT-h-kFVUJ32Cjpjilfwmcmkqslff9NG-TiLQTT2pc_SUe8YnPW9XUve2fiRFMIz6JWqSXWrkyQRYT5CsbMOnqK2DSeqygKKSZRTgyHuJGKFkkD7llUL9OY/s640/IMG_0258.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> Oh dear, the pictures are a bit out of order but I will guide you through this:) The pond is off the patio. The sound of the waterfall is wonderful and somethibng we have missed.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiAOf2-k7ZNyMFvEiGuEL9bchxvY1XspP_kHkN867wbmwi70UMc05Rc1H8s8I757KdirDDMbuVw8sKqjmxp8iaO9PtpKyt2fJM61YjFhYdlV4DNWdIgcJmQ5L_x_lZDHTxhhS3mKEGjbM/s1600/IMG_0259.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjiAOf2-k7ZNyMFvEiGuEL9bchxvY1XspP_kHkN867wbmwi70UMc05Rc1H8s8I757KdirDDMbuVw8sKqjmxp8iaO9PtpKyt2fJM61YjFhYdlV4DNWdIgcJmQ5L_x_lZDHTxhhS3mKEGjbM/s640/IMG_0259.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> This is still a work in progress, we have not planted this area yet, except for a couple of things.
