Today I wanted to share my new "winter" wreath! I made it with mostly things I had on hand, then added faux succulents!  I wanted something simple that would carry me for the few weeks til SPRING and Easter and bunnies etc.!!! Sorry fpr the background but my work station is in the storage area of the basement. I will share that one day soon:):) I always make my wreaths on an easel. It makes it much easier to see for correct placement. I started with a grapevine wreath and the first thing I placed was this piece. Then I cut a fern apart and added fern fronds all around this center piece.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpwrnm02cJCpJ0Gid1815J89mailoOdOLeAJvFWMOVqM6I4edkv_wTbV5yRh4xOXABBH4NpOM6TrFjztQGid3ZAHILZFZ006MSWGTrQglfJPx_KO_Muld80lvhj_Ozcj-WN1iaTj_vCfs/s1600/Winter+wreath+002.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpwrnm02cJCpJ0Gid1815J89mailoOdOLeAJvFWMOVqM6I4edkv_wTbV5yRh4xOXABBH4NpOM6TrFjztQGid3ZAHILZFZ006MSWGTrQglfJPx_KO_Muld80lvhj_Ozcj-WN1iaTj_vCfs/s640/Winter+wreath+002.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> Next was some pods that I had.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhch0nvUFqm8VK3J7uk6Vw7jGkav-EAOekLLoTH-A7TG8Vh-_Zl2A7R5KhxUClEACAMcfYpggqcMKLhoUJQ6lHHuAGyIqCUY2us_dZa45Hvf-pTTnPm1SzJjc-ejJG2NokK0tOlfjqXBaQ/s1600/Winter+wreath+003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhch0nvUFqm8VK3J7uk6Vw7jGkav-EAOekLLoTH-A7TG8Vh-_Zl2A7R5KhxUClEACAMcfYpggqcMKLhoUJQ6lHHuAGyIqCUY2us_dZa45Hvf-pTTnPm1SzJjc-ejJG2NokK0tOlfjqXBaQ/s640/Winter+wreath+003.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> I also added some pieces of eucylyptus that I had...<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1xqIgmYGko6boagMwWcL95LFF5w1fLe6FECCOI7igMYqvC1fPXuaWt9Ogc3IVYMHPkv3qNvJNu5cEs0L6aYYjJcbJ4UiACD3Ornrv5_x6QOQb_MbZLxJTGMZ_E2_f3AY6S85huuUYQRw/s1600/Winter+wreath+004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj1xqIgmYGko6boagMwWcL95LFF5w1fLe6FECCOI7igMYqvC1fPXuaWt9Ogc3IVYMHPkv3qNvJNu5cEs0L6aYYjJcbJ4UiACD3Ornrv5_x6QOQb_MbZLxJTGMZ_E2_f3AY6S85huuUYQRw/s640/Winter+wreath+004.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> and the faux succuletns.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIarVNH4P8cXbskX3I-kCIihMufLuouP8DbO9ttBz58sR0ppYH2xc035DX2y8IbSiYACWW7vLr_kSkKu6wUYkMPWYvqysAxMkpszzjqekk3CkmnYR641PRgwkCmDeKDMSq5UVVAfMfdUo/s1600/Winter+wreath+005.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIarVNH4P8cXbskX3I-kCIihMufLuouP8DbO9ttBz58sR0ppYH2xc035DX2y8IbSiYACWW7vLr_kSkKu6wUYkMPWYvqysAxMkpszzjqekk3CkmnYR641PRgwkCmDeKDMSq5UVVAfMfdUo/s640/Winter+wreath+005.JPG" width="480" /></a></div> I had 2 of these pod picks that I liked and placed at the ends of the wreath, top and bottom.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ4K5coxGmjc5BToJuD9A-DjkWIXxlacoKYCTeTbrTrrJztNxP7k1XlzWRk3ue15VvxaRXkL9R7TFaWJRjsfdCRzJfUujWaNeH2zP1SKDwN2gT7_ZKCZWGz3h8VUARLV15baN8J-qwh68/s1600/Winter+wreath+006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ4K5coxGmjc5BToJuD9A-DjkWIXxlacoKYCTeTbrTrrJztNxP7k1XlzWRk3ue15VvxaRXkL9R7TFaWJRjsfdCRzJfUujWaNeH2zP1SKDwN2gT7_ZKCZWGz3h8VUARLV15baN8J-qwh68/s640/Winter+wreath+006.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> There are different ways to fill a wreath: fully, all around, along the top, or along one side.  For some reason I am always oriented left to right so when I do a wreath on one side it is always on the left side.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih1Hh77HFxznot7zdDsBTjm8bOPh7V-CT2VzR9Z75MOVaOLCkiMrqbb9okIQt2M_3DM8HR8gEttajM-DRBeo5LGk0HF9WwrFrKcONo78T8PNp_w0L4z9pXOuHfI0Qlodhq_Sgxc6Q854w/s1600/Winter+wreath+007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih1Hh77HFxznot7zdDsBTjm8bOPh7V-CT2VzR9Z75MOVaOLCkiMrqbb9okIQt2M_3DM8HR8gEttajM-DRBeo5LGk0HF9WwrFrKcONo78T8PNp_w0L4z9pXOuHfI0Qlodhq_Sgxc6Q854w/s640/Winter+wreath+007.JPG" width="640" /></a></div>This God awful looking thing is my glue pot. I swear, once you use a glue pot, you will never use a glue gun again. This is so much eaier and faster and puts more glue on a pick. You have more control, I feel. I have had this one glue pot for about 15 years now!!! Forgive the stick that is in there in this shot. I have seen real and faux succulents being used all over blogland these days. I am looking for a terrarium so I can make one for in the house. I may also go get some more faux ones and do one in a trifle bowl!!!! Doesn't that sound interesting??? Have a GREAT week my friends. Thanks so much for your visit. ~~~Continuing the Tour, The Foyer~~~~

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">HI everyone! I know you all have seen the foyer decorated for Christmas, but I don't think I have ever shown you what it looks like the rest of the year! I display more Asian pieces here too. I have 2 of these plant shelves that I use for display here. I got them YEARS ago because they were the perfect size! They have tile shelves so are easily wiped clean.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSZJTtH02DUu1Jrd7er0Cp2SsH0wy9Jqy8eP1gzOMDZiyp2fjZ-OzquG1zkyMCVNh9hzqTqrLzrab7801_QiMkzYGnYj3zMmouV0M6i7jpqM1qudQYoAsxUMryLAsNEqs5H-R-DLwKUl4Q/s1600/IMG_0218.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgSZJTtH02DUu1Jrd7er0Cp2SsH0wy9Jqy8eP1gzOMDZiyp2fjZ-OzquG1zkyMCVNh9hzqTqrLzrab7801_QiMkzYGnYj3zMmouV0M6i7jpqM1qudQYoAsxUMryLAsNEqs5H-R-DLwKUl4Q/s640/IMG_0218.JPG" uda="true" width="480" /></a></div> This guy is one of my favorites. New/Old Kitchen Table

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Good Wednesday afternoon! I am still a BUSY girl, getting ready for "the kids" to move in this weekend. We decided to give T and D the kitchen table we were using, since their "morning room" will be ALOT bigger than our breakfast room, AND it has 6 chairs. I love the style of the table and chairs. The way I acquired it was our son tried to sell it at a garage sale here for....are ya ready... $150.00, brand new in the boxes!!!!!!!!!!!!! And it didn't sell! You can't get a not so nice table and FOUR chairs at K Mart for that let alone that table and 6 chairs. Anyway, now T and D will have it to enjoy. I always felt it was a little too big for our room but didn't want to give it away. So today Joe and I took it apart and brought our old table and chairs up from the basement in anticipation of THE MOVE this weekend.<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRnlnIxyJUsD0bfXT1WC1xFahqgtoZrIUeXPUC1htCHvY7M3hyphenhyphenULsB-MJZn0ZxdSlwVnv6LRraEm1TXjsRB2zWASvcscVWFSdVGg-XzBtPnqYbSmHxO1zm9Ixa_1gfDIVYFHLGsoeMRJLE/s1600/IMG_0906.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" gda="true" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRnlnIxyJUsD0bfXT1WC1xFahqgtoZrIUeXPUC1htCHvY7M3hyphenhyphenULsB-MJZn0ZxdSlwVnv6LRraEm1TXjsRB2zWASvcscVWFSdVGg-XzBtPnqYbSmHxO1zm9Ixa_1gfDIVYFHLGsoeMRJLE/s640/IMG_0906.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyaLiZXcYq_S_I7TF3Ixu069nhc5HpZnhb8mXpmHWWa3cEOjTKr6SSrC2sDBPXLclKYwCX9HSC3gGU0IhPi-rPx21adejT7qlz1XfUrfCdA5eXBu_cFi57zqzdpmkpOJjhE_nBJw_cxTsF/s1600/IMG_0907.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" gda="true" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiyaLiZXcYq_S_I7TF3Ixu069nhc5HpZnhb8mXpmHWWa3cEOjTKr6SSrC2sDBPXLclKYwCX9HSC3gGU0IhPi-rPx21adejT7qlz1XfUrfCdA5eXBu_cFi57zqzdpmkpOJjhE_nBJw_cxTsF/s640/IMG_0907.JPG" width="480" /></a></div> Here is our "old" table.
