Red for Thanksgiving and a giveaway!

Just when you thought I was using pink and blue:-)<br /><br />A couple years ago I received an email from someone at Lifetime Brands asking if I would be interested in hosting a giveaway for Mikasa. After getting up off the floor and recovering from shock, I went to work on my first giveaway of the Brava Rooster pattern. You see, I am not one of those bloggers with thousands of followers and companies and magazine editors filling up my inbox with offers. Even today, after three years of blogging, I'm still fall in the newbie/baby blogger category. So you can see why I was shocked. You are all welcome though!!!! We are amazed at how beautifully the lawn has come in!!!!We had our 30 day inspection this morning and they found things that we hadn't thought of to fix/tweak. I LOVE this company (Ryan Homes). And no, they are NOT paying me to say this. It has just been a VERY good experience building with them. Our construction manager is having the lawn people come and fill in the ruts and reseed too.  I have had this mailbox cover for many years and couldn't use it at the other house so am glad I can here! It rained VERY heavily the day after they seeded and this rut formed. I used to collect poterry: for MANY years. I went to juried craft shows and got some nice, unique pieces. And tghis was before the prices went sky high. I got all of these pieces for MUCH less than I would have to pay now. They are fitting in nicely in this new house.
