Organizing Your Kitchen, a look inside my cabinets!!

We have been here in this house for almost 2 years!!! Can you believe it??? It will be 2 years on Oct. 1st! The kitchen got organized when we moved in but now we have made some SIGNIFICANT changes to make it totally functional. THIS is the kitchen I always dreamed of!!!! Plenty of caninets and drawers and EVERYTHING organized!!! It is kitchen HEAVEN!!!  I have 2 TINY pantries but have organized them the best way I can think of. I had these turntables at the old house and they make finding everything SO easy!!! You can tell I have had them for YEARS as they don't make the "harvest gold" anymore:):)<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdrTmHnMAflK54SGvCIHcHWnzu9BvBozLkWEsEydNATCtbWiGEY-TFF1Zx3Us8XPzNYBpclZEUanPf_fJMOieigjtbXuBJKeSNI_YqI1qJRpAqty-1UPNhjnHVhIAyG8MEu2aLfydhMWA/s1600/IMG_1264.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdrTmHnMAflK54SGvCIHcHWnzu9BvBozLkWEsEydNATCtbWiGEY-TFF1Zx3Us8XPzNYBpclZEUanPf_fJMOieigjtbXuBJKeSNI_YqI1qJRpAqty-1UPNhjnHVhIAyG8MEu2aLfydhMWA/s1600/IMG_1264.JPG" width="426" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVcMD2Ku4IJp9YCDBQ_FgJ7x_hihyfw2YarlHilwIwR2Xxz2aNoceQI3OKkXUwvZC_50khwAt3foyjNRsnKq6OdQe8oa_NR0xVyf-R0SxesoBZvZeoikEp8nGs3NCbkY-NzhokREVEdEg/s1600/IMG_1265.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVcMD2Ku4IJp9YCDBQ_FgJ7x_hihyfw2YarlHilwIwR2Xxz2aNoceQI3OKkXUwvZC_50khwAt3foyjNRsnKq6OdQe8oa_NR0xVyf-R0SxesoBZvZeoikEp8nGs3NCbkY-NzhokREVEdEg/s1600/IMG_1265.JPG" width="426" /></a></div> The 2 trash cans hold Trash and recycleables.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUui14tn9hHBUFuakZRc7Dvs6K-O_JjHodR6wZO-RFvF43FT-c-dSCAAaY3wB_JZSTJcqZw2jdipH_06raJjmpXKcSfGwP8fSkpVafydcLX4L6gbeEO4N260_YQ8K4SRbPMu9Y6EIwIUs/s1600/IMG_1266.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUui14tn9hHBUFuakZRc7Dvs6K-O_JjHodR6wZO-RFvF43FT-c-dSCAAaY3wB_JZSTJcqZw2jdipH_06raJjmpXKcSfGwP8fSkpVafydcLX4L6gbeEO4N260_YQ8K4SRbPMu9Y6EIwIUs/s1600/IMG_1266.JPG" width="426" /></a></div> We also installed these racks on the pantry doors.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZN3caOjC36_fqx18h_aRdAzSZLDT1-WyMXkxu28r9Td6rRdD-qkaXF0vStymGJb3ans77ZdKbweuKMKoFr0xJP39PO9TUfmoeSdoig1QT_ex26rj-_SlBA2hvhTJyvwjBh5Px-rAafZw/s1600/IMG_1267.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgZN3caOjC36_fqx18h_aRdAzSZLDT1-WyMXkxu28r9Td6rRdD-qkaXF0vStymGJb3ans77ZdKbweuKMKoFr0xJP39PO9TUfmoeSdoig1QT_ex26rj-_SlBA2hvhTJyvwjBh5Px-rAafZw/s1600/IMG_1267.JPG" width="426" /></a></div> I have a knife block IN one of the drawers next to the stove. We had 4 couples over Friday night for a MINI opening, we plan to have a large gathering soon. This is Joe's baby; he did the design, the planning, chose the cabinets, counter, floor, installed the cabinets and did all the electric and plumbing too, installed the floor. Now this room is perfect for entertaining, a big or small crowd! The picture below is the view as you come down the stairs.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnvD-lnfKWcGbPfj9LwPnPNNV-XGieMvY5nhlfIgx_KtDcdaWunRGluj4nE1z5nKlINoSR_10GNc9zH_aKiDMD3kzhI4jR5jra5EP4YiP2ocEtsmI4gLADtFQC2A8Rruk6M6NwU2YkJXc/s1600/IMG_0548.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgnvD-lnfKWcGbPfj9LwPnPNNV-XGieMvY5nhlfIgx_KtDcdaWunRGluj4nE1z5nKlINoSR_10GNc9zH_aKiDMD3kzhI4jR5jra5EP4YiP2ocEtsmI4gLADtFQC2A8Rruk6M6NwU2YkJXc/s640/IMG_0548.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> I love the barstools, the backs have a combination of tiles. Each one is a little different. <br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpl2Z9i8uYx43mTHG3ZGgk9-qVFY4VUrsl8MPZb9W0zc6dy_P1gKeml3NMSWeYgZ5LrSicec1Ps4zQiZtsBrjAG5-Nsozrt3QqSgool5AjX4atQew_ak0P6fQWxhu2dOS1OFXq7Tw9_EU/s1600/IMG_0549.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpl2Z9i8uYx43mTHG3ZGgk9-qVFY4VUrsl8MPZb9W0zc6dy_P1gKeml3NMSWeYgZ5LrSicec1Ps4zQiZtsBrjAG5-Nsozrt3QqSgool5AjX4atQew_ak0P6fQWxhu2dOS1OFXq7Tw9_EU/s640/IMG_0549.JPG" width="640" /></a></div> See that lantern on the right? There is a story to these lanterns. Joe's Dad was a pilot, and when he flew to Germany there was a favorite pub he frequented. He got to know the owners and when they were going to remodel he GOT THE LANTERNS!!!!!!!!!! They were at Joe's parents home for many years and now we have 2 of them.
