~~~Adding Baskets to the Breakfast Room Wall~~~

Gradually I am pulling things out and adding some decor to walls and surfaces. We have been here over a year but with taking care of the other house I have not been really "on my game" so to speak. But I see the light at the end of the tunnel so I am having fun doing this and that around here. I love bskets and have been collecting them for YEARS!!! I wish I still had all of them but some got purged, sadly. I am finding places to use them here. ~~~A HINT That Spring is Coming!!!~~~

This morning I went outside, it looked so beautiful. I grabbed my camera when I saw the pond. There is just a TINY bit of snow still on it and the water is running, so I know Spring is coming! We have had wonderful, warmer temps the past few days so I have been enjoying every minute. Spring cleaning is even starting here!!! Just thought I would share a few shots out back. Lightening the Table with Spring Touches

Even though there is still snow on the ground (we got another 2 inches overnight) I am LONGING for Spring so decided to lighten up the table with some Springtime touches. Birds and nests say Spring to me and also fresh herbs. In this case my herbs are depicted on my plates! So, I combined all those elements for a new table setting.I didn't do a huge stack of dishes. I started with a very plain tan tablecloth, then a rattan placemat that is trimmed in green.
